 In this blog, we will see the features and final verdict of Redmi Note 9 PRO Max.

DESIGN

Redmi Note 9 PRO Max comes in three eye-catching colors:

• Interstellar Black
• Glacier White
• Aurora Blue

DISPLAY 

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 PRO Max has an IPS LCD FHD+ type display and a large screen of 6.67 inches ( 16.94 cm). It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with 395 PPI and has a bezel-less punch-hole display. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor the same as POCO X2 (which was launched recently) and supports multi-touch.

PROCESSOR

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 PRO Max has OS of MIUI 11 and chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. It comes with Octa-core ( 2.3 GHz, Dual-core, Kryo 465 + 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Kryo 465) processor.

The chipset here is the same as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 PRO.

CAMERA 

Redmi Note 9 PRO Max has a quad rear camera setup. The rear camera is in square shape.

Rear Camera: It has a quad-camera of 64 MP primary lens with 10x digital zoom + 5 MP macro lens + 8 MP ultra-wide-angle +2 MP depth lens with LED flash. The image resolution of this phone is 8000×6000 pixels which give you amazing picture quality. The sensor here present is a CMOS image sensor.

Video Recording :  3840 x 2160 @ 30 fps

                               1920 x 1080 @ 60 fps

Front Camera: Redmi Note 9 PRO Max has a punch-hole front camera. The punch hole is present at the center with 32 MP.

BATTERY 

It has a 5020 mAh Li-ion battery with fast charging support. It has a 33W fast charger. This charger has the capability to charge your phone from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes.

FINAL VERDICT

• Redmi Note 9 PRO Max is almost the same as Redmi Note 9 PRO (same display and same processor)
• IPS LCD FHD+ at this price point is not acceptable.
• Due to fewer bezels, the phone display looks bigger than actual.
• At least a 90 Hz refresh rate display must be there.
• The processor is not suitable for such a price point as one can get a better processor for less price.
• 64 MP primary camera is good and picture quality is amazing.
• The front camera which is in the center makes this phone look premium.
• Massive Battery with 33W fast charging.

1. Average Processor
2. Average IPS LCD display

CONCLUSION:

This is all for this device. I think that this device is not actually the PRO Max version of Redmi Note 9 PRO. They should upgrade the Processor, as an average processor makes the best phone falls in the category of average.
