Redmi has launched the rival of Realme 6 series

Xiaomi is the best smartphone brand in India and whenever it announces the launch of its product people get super excited as they always bring the product with something new or something improved. This time it is bringing Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 series. In this series, we will have Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 PRO and PRO Max.

 People are thinking that the launch of the Redmi Note 9 series will kill the sale of the Realme 6 series which was recently launched in India.  So, first, we shall discuss the features of this new smartphone Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 PRO and then we will see the final verdict of is this phone. And is this phone really a killer of the Realme 6 series?

DESIGN

Redmi Note 9 PRO comes in three eye-catching colors:

DISPLAY 

REDMI NOTE 9 PRO has an IPS LCD FHD+ type display and a large screen of 6.67 inches ( 16.94 cm). It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with 395 PPI and has a bezel-less punch-hole display. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor the same as POCO X2 (which was launched recently) and supports multi-touch.

PROCESSOR

REDMI NOTE 9 PRO has OS of MIUI 11 and chipset of Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. It comes with Octa-core ( 2.3 GHz, Dual-core, Kryo 465 + 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Kryo 465) processor.

CAMERA 

REDMI NOTE 9 PRO has a quad rear camera setup.

Rear Camera: It has a quad-camera of 48 MP primary lens with 10x digital zoom + 5 MP telephoto lens + 8 MP ultra-wide-angle +2 MP macro lens with LED flash. The image resolution of this phone is 8000×6000 pixels which give you amazing picture quality. The sensor here present is a CMOS image sensor.

Video Recording :  3840 x 2160 @ 30 fps

                               1920 x 1080 @ 60 fps

Front Camera: Note 9 PRO has a punch-hole front camera. The punch hole is present at the center with 16 MP.

BATTERY 

It has a 5020 mAh Li-ion battery with fast charging support. It has an 18W charger. This charger has the capability to charge your phone from 0 to 50% in 32 minutes.

FINAL VERDICT

As Redmi Note 9 PRO is launched at a price of Rs. 12,999 (base variant). So,

• Corning Gorilla Glass protection at the front and back is quite impressive.
• IPS LCD is fine but when the fingerprint is side-mounted then they can go for AMOLED display.
• The processor of this is the most disappointing part. At least 730G should be given by Xiaomi.
• The primary rear camera can be of 64 MP but the alignment of the camera is impressive.
• Battery is massive
• Xiaomi should provide a 27W fast charger instead of 18W, as the same charger, we get with Redmi Note 8 which costs Rs.10,500.
