Garmin Forerunner 245 has a sunlight-readable color display and five-button navigation. The display has Gorilla Glass protection, which is scratch resistance. It has a 1.2 inches display with a screen resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. Its screen is easy to read even in sunlight, at night, or even when you are running.
Music:
Forerunner 245 is available in music version also which enables you to store up to 500 songs on watch and you can also sync music to Spotify or Deezer.
Features:
Forerunner 245 tracks your heartbeat 24×7, allowing you to monitor resting heart rate, a valuable metric that can be used to gauge fitness level as well as tell when you are getting sick. It has a sensor to calculate all-day stress level and it’s new body battery metric tracks overall energy reserves. It also tracks your sleep, it breaks down sleep into stages: deep, light, REM, and awake.
It has a built-in compass and GPS tracking, which will help you whenever you feel you are lost.
Battery:
Garmin has improved battery life in GPS mode, as it offers 24 hours battery in GPS mode. It has UltraTrac mode which periodically turns off GPS to [reserves battery and uses the accelerometer to measure distance. In smartwatch mode, battery life is about 7 days.
Price: As Garmin watches are costly, this edition is also cost you $300 for Forerunner 245 and $350 for Forerunner 245 Music.
